Even a subtle change in your smile helps you to project an image of self-confidence and high personal esteem. When you feel good about yourself, it shows in your appearance.
Today's advanced techniques and materials can make a real difference. The skill, experience, and commitment of our practice — using a unique combination of science and artistry — can literally redesign your smile.
We encourage you to involve yourself in your own treatment and ask questions throughout our relationship. In our opinion, an informed and involved patient is most likely to achieve the highest level of healthcare, and look forward to working with you to achieve this goal.
Improving and creating beautiful smiles can be as easy as reshaping a few teeth or as complex as reconstructing a debilitated dentition. Esthetics and function must be considered when solving problems such as gummy smiles, closing large spaces, teeth that are too small, teeth that are crooked, teeth that are broken or teeth that need to be larger and brighter.
Periodontal Disease is the number one cause of tooth loss for adults. Gum Disease is often called the "silent killer of teeth" because it may not cause any discomfort until it is practically too late. We strive to diagnose periodontal disease early and treat conservatively to help you keep your natural teeth for a lifetime.
Dental implants allow us to give you a natural-looking replacement for a missing tooth without having to connect it to your surrounding teeth. Dr. Moss evaluates plans, and restores your implants to a natural-looking and functioning replacement tooth or teeth. Implants can also be used to stabilize complete dentures or partial dentures that have been difficult to wear. You can experience better chewing efficiency, improve appearance or speech with the use of dental implants.
Dental Sleep Medicine deals with treating problems associated with the annoying problem of snoring and the dangerous problem of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). We help patients deal with these problems and those who just cannot tolerate the use of a CPAP or BiPAP machine while trying to sleep. Obstructive sleep apnea has been linked to increased risk of heart attacks, high blood pressure, stroke, impotence, depression, headaches, heartburn, GERD and chronic sleepiness.
The "jaw joint" is perhaps the most complicated joint in the body. A bad bite is usually the cause of TMJ problems, along with clenching and grinding of the teeth. These problems can cause headaches, muscle aches, neck and shoulder pain, clicking and popping of the joint, ear pain, ringing in the ears, facial pain, and muscle spasms. Early diagnosis and treatment is important to prevent the problems from getting much worse.
